A time to revise or debate ?
Saturday, May 24th, 2008Asri missed his lesson with “absent with apologies”.He has been active in his school’s debate since the begining of this year. A few homeworks given are left attended and the teachers made him write 200 sentences:
” I should be smart enough to allocate my time ” .
On a few occasions he did fail to comply to the punishment.The teachers see this as an act of protest and Asri will find himself spending this break doubling the sentences.He simply cannot cope with all the debates sessions, lessons to catch up and later he will be travelling to one of the states to participate in the competition.
For sure he is smart, his brother will be doing all the “scribbling” for him.Her mother has made an arrangement to get someone to teach him when he comes back.In form 4, he shows a good performance in his academic.With the SPM coming, his mother can’t afford to let Asri handle himself.
”This is your last participation, no more school activities, that’s what you get for trying to bring up your school image , its your SPM result that really matters, if you want to learn other skills ,you can get it once your SPM is over” warned his mother sternly.
